Family Background:

We are eight in our family and I’m the 2nd last. I was brought up by my father and mother whom where not permanently employed. My mother used to be a house wife throughout her life, so that meant my father being the breadwinner, for which he struggled for most of his life. It was a terrible life and unbearable.

My life:

Initially I attended my primary course and life there was not even favourable. I remember days when I could go schooling without food, for we were so many in our family, such that we could not have enough food. Come to paying school fees it was like a burden to my parents but God helped us to go through all those circumstances.

Not like today, I usually see children wearing pairs of shoes. For me it was different. I had to walk bare-footed on grounds full of stones and thorns. For instance, facing this hard life made me work hard in academia so not to shame my parents and the way they were struggling. I also practiced soccer in school and eventually came to realize that I was talented in football, so I tried to put more effort in soccer as I watched many girls wasting their time and in stupid ways. I decided to shame the devil through football. The way that I saw can make my life successful, I heard and watched through the media people who had succeeded in life and improved their family background for soccer. Nowadays is just like profession where I can earn and live for me, when I flash my background, where I come from. I decided that where there is history there is vision and that instead of joining bad company I usually just spend my time with soccer, as I know that one day, one time, my dream will come true. I know that I will improve my family and our village and that is my vision. Through God I will fulfill it. Finally God will provide me with what I have asked from him as I know that He will never fail me.

All and all, the best from Marion.
