I was born in Kibera village, gone to school in Kibera primary. I live with my mum who is a hard-workin’ lady. My mum is a business lady and she made sure that we went to school and we had food on the table. Through my education I passed through many hardships goin’ to school with full uniform, food and school fees. Since we were 4 girls my mum had to sacrifice to each person to see her make it in life. I remember when I was in high school I never paid any money to school all was because I was involved in sports.

I started playin’ soccer when I was 10 years old, playin’ with boys in my village. And through that I came to notice that I had talent in football and that changed my life because I never paid school fees in high school and I was the games captain. Soccer has changed my life because I never involved my self in the community issues like usin’ drugs, alcohol. Soccer took me away from those issues in the community. Soccer has made me to be a role-model in my Kibera community. Many people know me which I didn’t expect.

I have lived my life playing soccer which made me to be who I am now. At my age now I shall see soccer as my future dream despite the challenge in Kibera community. When I started playin’ football many people didn’t believe how a girl can play soccer but I proved to them that everything is possible if you make it to be. I love football and when am not playing I spend most of time watching matches on T.V.
