In our family we were 8, 4 boys and 4 girls. 2 died, a boy and a girl. Now we are 6 in family with only one parent (mother), our father died in the year 1999 when I was in class 5 and that marked the end of my education. Before meeting with Carolina in the year 2002 and taking me back to school. That was because my mother was a jobless mother. And up to now we are just depending on our big brother.

For me, being a last born of the family when my father died my mother decided to take me and my two sisters out of school because she was unable to raise our school fee. We stayed out of school for around three years before joining Carolina for Kibera in the year 2002; they took me back to school.

I can say I chose soccer as a sport and it made me a better person because out of six I am the only one who completed up to form four. I got a scholarship in Carolina through soccer and completed my 0’ level.

I can say I love soccer because through it I participated in different tournaments like Coca Cola, part of which I was appointed the best girl in Nairobi province. It really improved my living standard because I was honored 2 trophys, 6 Coca Cola balls, and 30,000 cash money and it really impressed me as a footballer. I even participated in street soccer tournament for a total of 30 girls and I was selected the best girl in Nairobi province.
